Throughout his tenure with the Dallas Police Department, Joe has taken on various roles, including patrol officer, field training officer, basic academy advisor, police vehicle operations instructor, covert surveillance officer, and currently serves as a Project Safe Neighborhood federal task force officer for the Violent Crime Planning unit.

Joe's passion for serving others traces back to his high school and college days, where he dedicated his time to the Kiwanis organization. His commitment to service continued with his military service and reached new heights when he joined the Assist The Officer Foundation as a board member in 2020. For Joe, helping first responders during their times of need is not just a duty but a fulfilling calling.
