Shavon Wall, Board Member
Meet Shavon Wall, a seasoned first responder with an impressive 22-year career since September 2001, dedicated to serving and supporting both her community and fellow officers.
Shavon's extensive experience includes ten years at Northeast Patrol and twelve years at the Northeast Investigative Unit. However, her commitment goes beyond the confines of her duty. In 2006, she initiated the White Rock 5k, a non-profit race that successfully raised over $60,000, all of which was generously donated to the Assist The Officer Foundation (ATO). This initial effort sparked an ongoing commitment to supporting ATO through various fundraisers and charitable events. As a 20-year spouse of a veteran officer, Shavon intimately understands the challenges of the profession and stresses the importance of being a steadfast supporter to her husband and fellow officers. She believes in the comforting assurance that their family is connected to a foundation willing to provide immediate assistance if ever needed.
Shavon takes pride in her role as a strong, supportive wife and mother to three children—Tyler (17), Trevor (12), and Gabriella (8). Beyond her professional life, she is an avid runner, boasting over 30 half marathons and four full marathons, two of which were completed while pregnant. In addition to her athletic pursuits, Shavon actively collaborates with the Dallas DA, contributing to the pursuit and prosecution of criminals, thus furthering community safety.
Her community involvement stretches beyond Dallas as an active member of the Golden Corridor of Republican Women and the Connor Harrington Republican Women. Shavon also serves as the Vice President for both the Cockrill Middle School Athletic Booster Club and the McKinney Boyd High School Athletic Booster Club.
Shavon's academic achievements are just as impressive. As a recipient of a full athletic softball scholarship at St. Mary’s University (’97 – ’01), she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Business Analytics.
In summary, Shavon Wall's extensive background, unwavering commitment to community service, and dedication to supporting first responders make her an invaluable and inspiring contributor to the mission of the Assist The Officer Foundation.
